Subject: The late Mr Chang Min Kee
Dear Sau San,
Kindly get the following published in our Kirkby Net. Tks.
Many First and Second batch of teacher-trainers who were sent to Kirkby in 1961 and 1962 for training and other teachers must be feeling a grievous loss at the demise of the first Asian Director of Teacher Training Mr Chang Min Kee on 10th August at the age of 93 years. I was very saddened.
Before his appointment Mr Chang was sent to London to undergo a secialist course in educational administration.
Prior to this, he served as the Principal of Sultan Ismail College in Kota Bahru.
For his services to the country, he was bestowed Kesetria Mangku Negara (KMN) in 1964.
Mr Chang left behind 2 sons and 1 daughter and spouses and 4 grandchildren to mourn their loss.
Wake from 11-13 August at St Ignatius Church, SS25 Taman Plaza, Petaling Jaya and funeral mass at 11.00am on Tuesday 14 August at Francis Xavier Church Petaling Jaya.
May his soul rest in peace.
