R.I.P. BELLA HO Kirkby 1959-1960 11-1-2015

I regret to inform you that Bella Ho from my batch, 1959-1960, passed away early in the morning today at 4.30 am at the KL hospital.

You would remember that I wrote to Kirkbyites on 23-9-2014 asking for your prayers as she was undergoing a very critical surgery.  Thankfully that surgery went well. And we all celebrated. But that joy did not last long.

Her health deteriorated soon after and she became critically ill. There was no hope of recovery and it was a matter of time when God in His mercy finally released her from the pain.

Bella was a very vibrant person in college. She was in Block 10 and was the Block Representative. She was in Group A and her option was Geography.

I remember her in her dark blue jacket a red neckerchief. She was beautiful.

I understand that she used to burst into songs and could sing wonderfully.

On her return from Kirkby she was posted to Kuala Trengganu and later was transferred to Kemaman. Subsequently she went to STTI and followed a course in the Education of the Deaf. After the course she was sent to the Federation School for the Deaf in Penang.

At this time, she supported her sister Irene to go to university who in turn supported Bella to go university after completing her studies.

At some point she resigned and went to teach in Singapore. She was a very dedicated teacher and received a Gold Medal for her devotion to her vocation.

From what I understand, she was a very kind and generous person, ever willing to be helpful. She did not hoard her money but used it freely to assist others.

She was a good soul and we will miss her.

Bella’s wake/memorial service will be held on Monday, 12-1-2015, at the FULL GOSPEL ASSEMBLY (Basement) , Jalan Kuchai Lama, Off Jalan Klang Lama, 58200 Kuala Lumpur at 8.00 pm.

Please note that there is another funeral at this church which will be held at the larger place. This is why Bella’s service will be at the BASEMENT.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 13-1-2015, at 10.00 am. Thereafter the cortege will leave FGA for Kg. Tunku Crematorium.
